Continued demand drives multifamily housing through pandemic

While the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the way Idahoans live, it has not slowed the demand for multifamily housing in Idaho. In fact, demand continues to rise as developers and multifamily housing operators plan new development projects.
Boise-based real estate development company Thomas Development Co. recently completed a 48-unit affordable apartment complex for adults age 62 and older. The project in Caldwell wrapped up just as the COVID-19 pandemic began, a confluence of events that could have made leasing the property difficult.
